What is the customer fraud check?

The customer fraud check puts a coloured badge next to every customer phone number on your orders and parcels. The badge shows how many parcels that customer took and how many they sent back, so you can decide before you confirm or book an order.

Where to find it

  • The badges are on Website orders, Incomplete orders, Seller orders (the list and each order's page) Courier & parcels (the list and each parcel's page) and the CRM › Customers list. The order list on the classic store dashboard shows them too. Everyone who works with website orders or the ERP sees them.
  • The settings are in Admin › Administration › Security › Customer fraud check. The same settings card is also under Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Courier & parcels › Couriers & keys. Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees it.

How it works

The record comes from two places:

  1. Your own shop (free, always there). Your parcels to that phone number with every courier, and any of your website orders marked Fake.
  2. Every courier, from BD Courier (with your own key). When you add your BD Courier API key, the badge shows the customer's record across couriers such as Steadfast, Pathao and RedX, not just your shop.

The badge shows the share of finished parcels the customer received, for example 92% 11/12. A customer with no record shows New. One whose parcels are all still on the way shows On the way.

Click a badge to open the details: Delivered %, Parcels, Received and Returned, a courier-by-courier table (with BD Courier), and a line "In this shop:" with your own numbers.

Example: a new order comes in for Rangdhanu Fashion from 01XXXXXXXXX. The badge is red, "Danger", 20% 1/5. Before sending, the seller calls the customer and asks for an advance.

Good to know

  • On for a new store. The switch Show the customer's record next to orders and parcels turns all badges on or off.
  • Parcels still on the way are not counted in the %.
  • Marked fake here before? A customer with a fake-marked order in your shop shows at least High risk.
  • Checking new numbers by themselves: with a BD Courier key, the lists ask BD Courier about up to 15 new numbers a page, each number once a day. You can turn this off.
  • Your data stays yours. Each store uses its own key and sees only its own parcels and its own answers.
  • High risk and Danger customers also get a red mark on Seller orders and the Advance taken? question before Send to Courier.
