Drag the Sync from Steadfast button to your browser's bookmarks bar once. After that, whenever the Steadfast panel is open and you are signed in, click the bookmark. It reads the panel's tabs and brings every parcel into Courier & parcels, so your numbers match the panel.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Courier & parcels, on the card Match with the Steadfast panel (All couriers or Steadfast tab). People who do courier work see it (the owner, and staff with the Courier feature). After the free trial it needs a package that includes "Courier tabs & panel match".
Step by step
- On a computer, open Courier & parcels and find Match with the Steadfast panel.
- Drag the ⟳ Sync from Steadfast button up to your browser's bookmarks bar. Clicking it on this page only shows a reminder; it must be dragged.
- Open steadfast.com.bd and sign in to your merchant panel as usual.
- Click the bookmark. A small dark box at the top right shows what it is reading, page by page.
- When it says Done, it shows how many parcels are new and how many changed status.
- Back in Courier & parcels, the card shows the time of the Last match. The owner's CEO dashboard shows it too, as "matched … ago".
How it works
- Steadfast's API cannot list parcels. A parcel booked straight in the Steadfast panel would otherwise arrive only with its first status update. This button fixes that.
- It reads the Pending, Approval pending, In review and Exceptional tabs in full, and the Delivered, Partial and Cancelled tabs for about the last 10 days.
- The reading happens in your own browser, on your own Steadfast login. Your Steadfast password is never needed here.
- Parcels still showing as on the way here but no longer on the panel's tab are checked again with Steadfast first.
Good to know
- Click it as often as you like, for example each evening before you check the day's numbers.
- On the CEO dashboard. With the dates set to Today or Yesterday, the owner sees an In review · right now box: the parcels In review at Steadfast now, their amount, when the panel was last matched, and the same ⟳ Sync button to drag. It turns red when the last match is more than 6 hours old.
- The bookmark carries your store's token. If someone presses New token on the live updates card, drag the button to the bookmarks bar again.
- Do not share the bookmark with people outside your team.
Common problems
- An alert asks you to open the Steadfast panel. You clicked it on another site. Open steadfast.com.bd, sign in, then click it.
- The box says the button is old. The token was changed. Delete the old bookmark and drag the button again.
- Parcels arrive on the wrong page. Link their invoice codes to a page on the Invoice codes not linked to a page card.
