How do I search and filter orders?

Open the status you need from Website orders in the sidebar, type an invoice number, name, phone or address in the search box, or pick two dates and press Filter. Each one narrows the list to the orders you want.

Where to find it

Admin › Online store › Website orders. The store owner sees every order. Staff need the Website orders tick in Users & logins.

Step by step

By status

  1. Open Admin › Online store › Website orders.
  2. Click a status: All orders, Pending, Processing, Ready to Delivery, On Courier, Complete, On Hold, Cancelled or Return. Incomplete orders has its own screen, and Fake orders is under Administration › Security.

By invoice, name, phone or address

  1. On the orders list, type in the Searching Here... box. Part of a word or number is enough, for example the last digits of a phone number.
  2. Press Submit. The matching orders show in the same place.

By date

  1. Pick a start date and an end date in the two date boxes at the top right.
  2. Press Filter.

Good to know

  • The date filter uses the day the order came in. The end date itself is not included: to see orders up to 31 October, choose 1 November as the end date.
  • The date filter shows every status in that range, even if you opened it from the Pending list.
  • Search results come on one page, with no page numbers. Normal lists show 30 orders a page.
  • You can tick orders in search results and then print them or change their status.
  • The numbers next to the status names above the list show how many orders are in each status.
  • More filters: Admin › Online store › Store reports › Order report filters by status, assigned person, date range and courier, and can export the result.

Common problems

  • Search finds nothing. Try a shorter part of the name or number. The search matches the text as it was typed on the order, so a phone saved with +88 or spaces may not match a full 11-digit number. Search for the last 6 digits instead.
  • An order is missing. It may have been deleted. Open the Trashed Orders button on the list (if your login can see the trash).
