Open the order's edit page and look under Customer Image, just below the Note box. Every photo the customer added at checkout is there. Press a photo to open it full size in a new tab.
Where to find it
Admin › Online store › Website orders › All orders, then the pencil icon in the order's Action column. The Customer Image area is near the bottom of the page.
The store owner always sees it. Staff need the Website orders feature in Users & logins.
Step by step
- Go to Admin › Online store › Website orders › All orders.
- Find the order, for example by searching the customer's mobile number.
- Click the pencil icon in its Action column.
- Scroll down to Customer Image.
- Press a photo to open it full size. Save it from there if you need it for printing or making.
How it works
- Photos come only with products that ask for them. The photo field shows at checkout only when a product in the cart has User Can Upload Order Image set to Yes.
- Up to 5 photos an order, JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 4 MB each.
- Kept private. The photos sit in your store's own private folder, not on a public web address. They open only for your team, signed in to the panel, and only on your own store's orders.
- Older photos still show. Photos added before this change appear in the same place.
Example: a customer orders a custom-printed mug from Rangdhanu Gifts and adds two photos of her family. The packer opens the order's edit page, presses each photo under Customer Image and sends them to the printer.
Good to know
- Check the photo before you start work. Custom items usually cannot be resold. Call the customer if the photo is blurry or the wrong one.
- Write what to do with it in the order's Note, for example "print on front, A4", so the next person knows.
- Landing page order forms do not ask for photos. Ask those customers to send the picture in chat.
Common problems
- The area says "No photo". The customer did not add one, or the product does not ask for photos. Ask for the picture in chat.
- A photo does not open. Check that you are signed in to this store's panel and that your login has Website orders.
