"Salary not set" means the Admin added this person and nobody has set their salary yet. The Admin can add people but never touches money, so the store owner opens the person, sets the salary rule and presses Save.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › HR Department › Staff. Setting a salary needs the Staff & salary (owner) feature, which opens for the store's Super Admin only.
The owner sees "Salary not set" in three places:
- The staff list: a notice at the top ("Salary not set: … added by the Admin — open each and set the salary rule.") with a button for each person, and "salary not set" in the salary column.
- The person's profile: "Salary not set: added by the Admin — set the salary rule."
- The CEO dashboard, under Needs you now: "Salary not set for 2 people the Admin added". The link opens the staff list showing only those people.
How it works
When the Admin presses Add a person, the form has no salary boxes. It says the salary is set by the Super Admin after the person is added. The new profile starts with the department's usual pay rule and every amount at 0: basic, TA/DA, no overtime, not working from home. If anything about money was sent with the form, it is dropped.
The Admin sees "Salary not set yet — the Super Admin sets it." on that profile. They can still fix the name, phone, duty times, card ID and login.
Example: the Admin at Rangdhanu Fashion adds a new cutting man. The owner opens the CEO dashboard, sees "Salary not set for 1 person the Admin added", clicks it, opens the person, chooses the pay rule, writes the basic salary and presses Save. The notice goes away.
Step by step
- Open Staff, or click the line in Needs you now.
- Click the person's name in the yellow notice.
- Under Salary rule, choose the pay rule and fill in the basic salary, TA/DA and overtime.
- Press Save.
Good to know
- People the owner adds never get this mark. The owner's form has the salary boxes.
- Any save by the owner clears the mark. Check the salary boxes before you press Save, or the person stays on 0.
- The Admin cannot make an Admin or a Super Admin. Those roles stay with the owner.
- Logins count. A login the Admin makes counts toward your package's staff-login limit.
