How do I mark a holiday or closed day?

Go to Attendance, scroll to Days the company is closed (Eid, holidays …), pick the date, add a short note and press Add. Nobody is absent on that day, so no salary is cut for it.

Where to find it

Admin › ERP › HR Department › Attendance (এইচআর বিভাগ › হাজিরা), at the bottom of the page. The store owner and anyone with the Attendance feature (Admin and Manager by default) can add or remove closed days.

Step by step

  1. Go to Attendance.
  2. Scroll down to Days the company is closed (Eid, holidays …).
  3. Pick the date.
  4. Type a note, for example "Eid ul-Fitr" or "Victory Day". The note is optional.
  5. Press Add.
  6. For a holiday of several days, add each date one by one.

To take a closed day away, press the small × next to it.

How it works

  • On a closed day every person counts as Day off, the same as their weekly day off.
  • If someone punches the card that day, the day becomes Worked on day off. For staff on the Fixed + overtime salary, that day is paid extra by the share of the duty they worked.
  • The days are worked out again as soon as you add or remove a closed day. If that month's salary is already worked out, it follows the change by itself. A slip that is already Checked or Paid stays as it is.

Good to know

  • Plan ahead. You can add a future date, such as next month's Eid. When that day comes, nobody is marked absent.
  • The list follows the dates you are viewing. The closed days shown are the ones inside the date range at the top of the page. Pick a wider range to see others.
  • Days corrected by hand stay as they are. If you already changed someone's day by hand, a closed day does not change it. Open that day and press Back to the machine's record if you want it to follow the closed day.
  • Only working staff with a card-machine ID are worked out again. Part-time staff are paid by work bills and have no attendance.
  • Checked or paid salaries do not change. Open a checked salary again on the Payroll page if it must include the closed day.

Common problems

  • Someone is still absent on the holiday. That day was corrected by hand earlier. Open the day and set it to Day off, or use Back to the machine's record.
  • I cannot see the closed-day box. You need the Attendance feature. Ask the store owner to add it in Users & logins.
