Open Low stock alert. It lists every product whose total stock is at or below your alert number, so you know what to reorder or hide before customers order something you cannot send.
Where to find it
Admin › Online store › Store reports › Low stock alert (স্টক কম).
The owner always sees it. Staff need the Products & stock tick. To change the alert number, staff also need the Website design tick.
Step by step
- Open Low stock alert.
- Check the number in Low Stock Alert Number. Products with this many pieces or fewer are listed.
- To change it, type a new number and press Save. The list then uses the new number.
- Read the list. Each row shows Product, Sku, Image, Type, Category, Sell Price, Stock, Visibility and Recommended.
- To find one product, type part of its name, description or SKU in Search... and press Submit.
- To add stock, open the product from the Action column, or go to Admin › Online store › Products › Stock.
How it works
Stock is the total of all the stock entries for that product, every size and colour together. A product with 3 pieces in size M and 4 in size L counts as 7.
If you never saved a number, the page uses 10.
The newest products are at the top, 30 to a page.
Good to know
- Hide what you cannot send. Tick the products that are sold out and press Hide. They stop showing on your shop. Press Show to bring them back after you restock.
- Recommended products with low stock are worth checking first; you are pointing customers at them. Tick them and press De-active (Recomm) if you cannot restock soon.
- Pick a number that fits your shop. If you sell about 5 of a product a day and your supplier takes 4 days, set the number to 20 or more.
- Export at the top downloads your product list as an Excel file.
Example: "Rangdhanu Fashion" sets the alert number to 15. Every Saturday it opens Low stock alert, reorders fabric for the best sellers on the list, and hides two designs that will not come back.
Common problems
- A product you never added stock for is not listed. The list needs at least one stock entry for the product. Add its stock in Products › Stock.
- A staff member cannot save the alert number. They need the Website design tick for that.
