Hide a product you might sell again, such as an out-of-season item or one waiting for new stock. Delete a product only when you will never sell it again, or when you need a free place in your package's product limit. Deleting cannot be undone.
Where to find it
Admin › Online store › Products › All products. You need the Products & stock feature to open it; the delete icon shows only for people allowed to delete products.
Step by step
To hide (or show again):
- Go to Admin › Online store › Products › All products.
- Tick the box next to each product you want to hide.
- Press Hide at the top. The Visibility column now says "Hide".
- To bring products back, tick them and press Show.
To delete:
- In All products, find the product.
- Press the red delete icon on its row and confirm.

Good to know
- Ads and shared links: a hidden product's page shows "not found" to shoppers. To send them somewhere useful, fill in Replaced by in the product's SEO (Google) section with another product's address; the old link then opens that product. Pause ads that point to a hidden product.
- Orders: an order whose products were all deleted no longer appears in the Website orders lists. If you may need to look at those orders again, hide the product instead.
- Seasonal items: hide them at the end of the season and press Show next year. Photos, prices and rows are all still there.
- Sample products from a theme do not count in your product limit. Remove them in Store design › Store themes with Remove sample products.
- Need space? Delete products you will truly never sell, such as test products or duplicates.
Common problems
- I hid a product but can still open it. You are signed in to your store's team, so you can still preview it. Shoppers see "not found".
- There is no delete icon. Your login is not allowed to delete products. Ask the store owner.
