What are "Maybe you'll lose" and "Maybe you'll gain"?

Maybe you'll lose is the part of your Money position that may never reach you: returns, short collections and the courier's charges. Maybe you'll gain is money likely to come that Money position does not count yet: website orders still waiting to be confirmed. Both are estimates from your own last 90 days.

Where to find it

Admin › CEO DASHBOARD (সিইও ড্যাশবোর্ড), in the big top card, on the row under the salary boxes. The two tinted boxes sit on the left; the How this is worked out button is on their right.

Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees them, because the CEO dashboard is for the owner alone.

How it works

Money position already counts every parcel on the way (booked in the last 45 days, not finished) at its full COD amount. Maybe you'll lose adds up what of that is likely not to come:

  • Parcels on the way that may come back: their amount × your return rate. A parcel the courier already marked as waiting for approval counts by what the courier said.
  • Collected short on the ones delivered: partial deliveries and discounts at the door, at your usual collected share.
  • Courier delivery + COD charges and Return charges, from your own average charges.
  • Missing at Steadfast (all time), in full. This one is real money, not an estimate.

Maybe you'll gain counts only website orders waiting to be confirmed and not yet booked. Their amount × your website's delivered rate × your collected share, less the courier charges they would cost.

Example: "Rangdhanu Fashion" has 40 parcels on the way worth ৳60,000. Over 90 days, 15% of finished parcels came back. About ৳9,000 of those parcels may come back, plus charges, and that shows under Maybe you'll lose.

Good to know

  • Nothing is counted twice. Supplier dues, the Steadfast balance and the parcels on the way are already in Money position, so they are listed as "not added". Outside booking charges are shown but not added: the courier already took them.
  • Too little history shows ৳0. Under 20 finished parcels, or 10 finished website orders, in the last 90 days, that part is left out rather than guessed. Point at the box to read why.
  • Website orders newer than 7 days are left out of the website rate, because their end is not known yet.
  • Money position does not change because of these two boxes.
  • Every part, rate and link is listed under How this is worked out.

Common problems

  • Both boxes show ৳0. Your store does not have enough finished parcels or orders yet. They fill in as parcels finish.
  • The number looks old. The dashboard keeps its numbers for 3 minutes. Press Refresh.
