Your own domain shows "This shop's own domain is paused" when your paid package has ended and its 3 grace days are over, or when your package does not include an own domain. Nothing is deleted. Your free address keeps working, and your domain comes back by itself as soon as the package is paid.
Where to find it
Renew in Admin › Administration › Settings › Package & billing (প্রশাসন › সেটিং › প্যাকেজ ও বিল). Only the store owner can pay. Admin › Online store › Store design › Custom domain (নিজের ডোমেইন) also shows a yellow note: "Your own domain is paused", with a Renew the package button.
How it works
While the domain is paused, a visitor on it sees a short page instead of your shop:
- "This shop's own domain is paused", with your shop's name and that the package has ended.
- A green button Open plus your free address, so customers can still reach you and order.
- A line for you: "Shop owner? Renew the package in Settings › Package & billing."
These still open on your own domain, so you can fix it from there:
- the admin panel and its sign-in page;
- the return from an online package payment.
When the payment is confirmed, the shop opens on your domain again. You do not need to add the domain or its DNS records again.
Example: "Rangdhanu Fashion" paid until 10 March. The shop keeps working on rangdhanufashion.com until 13 March. From then the domain shows the paused page, while the free address still takes orders. The owner renews on 15 March and the domain opens the shop again.
Good to know
- A package without an own domain pauses it too, for example after moving to Start Free. An own domain is never included on Start Free, not even in the free trial.
- Nothing is removed. Your domain stays on the Custom domain page, and your shop data stays as it is.
- Renew before the grace days end and the domain never pauses.
- A domain bought through eCommerce Autopilot never pauses this way. It shows Bought here on the page and works on every package, Start Free too.
- "This shop is closed for now" is something else. That page shows on every address, the free one too, when the whole store is on hold. See My store is on hold.
Common problems
- The page says "This domain is not connected yet" instead. That is not your package. The TXT record that proves the domain is yours has not been found. Add it in Custom domain and press Check now. Until then, sign in through your free address.
- I renewed, but the domain is still paused. A send-money payment waits until the eCommerce Autopilot team checks it. Look at the status of the payment on Package & billing.
