How many own domains can my store have?

A store can have up to 10 own domains, for example rangdhanufashion.com, rangdhanu.shop and a common misspelling. Each one is added with and without www. All of them send shoppers to your one main address.

Where to find it

Admin › Online store › Store design › Custom domain (অনলাইন স্টোর › স্টোর ডিজাইন › নিজের ডোমেইন). The box is called Your own domain, or Your own domains once you have more than one, and shows how many you have, for example 3 of 10. Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees it.

How it works

Add your first domain in the Domain box and press Add domain.
For each next one, type it in Add another domain and press Add domain again.
Each domain gets its own TXT record in step 2 of How to connect your domain. Add every one at the company where that domain was bought.
Point each domain with the same two A records (@ and www) to the server IP shown on the page.
Press Check now. Every domain shows its own status until it is Working (https).

Example: "Rangdhanu Fashion" uses rangdhanufashion.com as its main address and also owns rangdhanu.shop. It adds both. Once both work, a shopper who types rangdhanu.shop lands on rangdhanufashion.com.

Good to know

www does not count extra. A domain and its www are one domain of the 10.
One shop, one main address. Extra domains do not make separate shops. They all show the same store and send shoppers to the main address you choose.
Each is proven on its own. A domain whose TXT record is not found within 7 days of adding it is removed by itself; the others are not touched.
Removed one by one. Each domain has its own Remove link.
Package. Domains from another company need a paid package that includes your own domain. A domain bought on the Buy a domain box of the same page works on every package and counts toward the 10 too.
One domain, one store. A domain already used by another store cannot be added.

Common problems

"A store can have up to 10 own domains. Remove one to add another." You have 10. Remove one you no longer need.
"… is already added." That domain is already on your store, maybe with www. You do not need to add www separately.
Only some domains work. Check each domain's status line. Each needs its own TXT record and A records.
