When your paid package reaches its end date, it keeps working for a few more days (3 days today). After that your store moves to the free package and its limits, until you pay again. Your data is kept.
Where to find it
Admin › Administration › Settings › Package & billing (প্রশাসন › সেটিং › প্যাকেজ ও বিল) shows your end date in the Now box. Only the store owner sees this page in the sidebar, and only the owner gets the reminders.
How it works
Before the end date
- From 5 days before the end date, the owner sees a red bar at the top of the panel: "Your … package ends on …". It has a Renew button.
- About 3 days before, an email goes to the owner's email address: "Your … package ends on …", with a Renew now button.
After the end date: the grace days
- Your package keeps working as before for 3 more days. This is the grace time.
- The red bar now says the package "ended on" that date. Renew during these days and nothing stops.
After the grace days
- The store moves to the free package (Start Free). Its limits and modules apply.
- The owner gets one more email: "Your … package has ended".
- Parts that are not in the free package show a page saying "This part is in the … package".
- Your products, orders, customers and other data stay. You cannot add more than the free package allows.
- Your own domain (if you have one) pauses: it shows a short "paused" page, while your free address keeps working. It comes back by itself when you renew.
- If the free package's order limit is already reached, your shop stops taking new orders. Customers see: "Sorry, this shop cannot take new orders online right now. Please call the shop to order."
Example: "Rangdhanu Fashion" paid until 10 March. On 7 March the owner gets the reminder email. On 10 March the package ends, but everything keeps working until 13 March. From then on the free package applies, until the owner renews.
Good to know
- The number of grace days and the free package's limits are set by eCommerce Autopilot and can change. Check Package & billing for your own numbers.
- On the free package, orders may be counted in total rather than per month. A store with many past orders can be at the limit at once. Renew before the grace days end to avoid this.
- Renew early with the same package and the new months are added after your current end date, so you lose no days.
- Renew late and the new months start from the day the payment is confirmed.
- Change to another package before your end date and the days left are not lost: their value becomes days on the new package (days left × old price ÷ new price, rounded down), added to the months you pay for. Package & billing shows the number before you pay.
- Emails go to the owner's email address. Keep it correct and confirmed.
Common problems
- No reminder email came. Look in your spam folder. The red bar at the top of the panel shows the same reminder.
- The shop stopped taking orders. The free package's order limit is reached. Renew on Package & billing and orders open again.
- My own domain shows "paused". The grace days are over. Renew and it comes back by itself; nothing was deleted.
