Paste your RedX API token on the RedX card in Couriers & keys, switch on Use RedX, press Save and then Test connection. When it works, it shows "Connected to RedX" and how many delivery areas RedX gave.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Courier & parcels, then Couriers & keys. Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees it. Its tick, ERP settings (owner), opens for the Super Admin only, even when ticked for staff.
Step by step
- In your RedX merchant panel, open Developer API and copy your API token.
- Open Couriers & keys and find the RedX card.
- Switch on Use RedX.
- Paste the token in API token. Leave API address empty.
- Press Save. The card shows Keys saved.
- Press Test connection. You see "Connected to RedX" and the number of delivery areas.
Good to know
- The area matters. RedX needs a delivery area for every parcel. On a website order's Edit page, the RedX fields let you Choose Area.
- If no area was chosen, the app looks for a RedX area name written in the customer's address and uses it.
- The list of RedX areas is kept for a day, so the order form opens quickly.
- Item Weight goes to RedX with the parcel (0.5 kg when nothing is set).
- The token is not shown again after saving. Leave the box empty to keep it, or paste a new one to replace it.
- Statuses of RedX parcels on the way are checked by themselves every few hours. For instant updates, open the RedX tab on Courier & parcels and put the link shown on Live updates from RedX into RedX's webhook settings.
Common problems
- "choose the RedX area on the order first (or write the area in the address)". Open the order's Edit page, choose the area, save and send again.
- Test connection shows an error. Copy the token again from the RedX panel, paste it whole, save and test.
