Fill the Pathao card in Couriers & keys with your Client ID, Client secret, merchant login email and password, and Store ID. Switch on Use Pathao, press Save, then Test connection. Pathao then signs in by itself whenever it needs to.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Courier & parcels, then Couriers & keys. Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees it. Its tick, ERP settings (owner), opens for the Super Admin only, even when ticked for staff.
Step by step
- In your Pathao merchant panel, open Developer API and note your Client ID and Client secret.
- Open Couriers & keys and find the Pathao card.
- Switch on Use Pathao.
- Fill in Client ID and Client secret.
- Fill in Merchant login email and Merchant login password, the ones you use to sign in to Pathao.
- Fill in Store ID, the Pathao store your parcels go from. Leave API address empty.
- Press Save, then Test connection. It shows "Connected to Pathao" with your Pathao stores.
Good to know
- No access token to copy. Pathao signs in with these details by itself and keeps the token until it expires.
- The Client secret and the password are kept encrypted and are not shown again. Leave those boxes empty to keep them.
- If Store ID is empty, parcels go from the first store on your Pathao account.
- City, zone and area: on a website order's Edit page, the Pathao fields let you choose City, then Zone, then Area. Choose them before sending the order to Pathao.
- Item Weight goes to Pathao with the parcel (0.5 kg when nothing is set), and the charge depends on it.
- Statuses of Pathao parcels on the way are checked by themselves every few hours. For instant updates, open the Pathao tab on Courier & parcels and put the link shown on Live updates from Pathao into Pathao's webhook settings.
Common problems
- "Pathao sign-in failed". The Client ID, secret, email or password is wrong. Type them again and save.
- "no Pathao store found". Add your Store ID on the card.
