How do I change the status of many orders at once?

Tick the orders in the Website orders list, press Status Change, choose the new status and press Submit. Every ticked order gets that status at once.

Where to find it

Admin › Online store › Website orders, then any status list. The Status Change button is in the row of buttons above the list. The store owner can always use it. Staff need the Website orders tick in Users & logins.

Step by step

  1. Go to Admin › Online store › Website orders and open the list you need, for example Ready to Delivery.
  2. Tick the box at the start of each order you want to change. To tick every order on the page, tick the box in the header row.
  3. Press Status Change. A box opens: "Multi Status Update".
  4. Choose the new status.
  5. Press Submit. The page reloads and the orders show their new status.

Good to know

  • Stock does not move. A bulk change only changes the status. If you cancel or return orders this way, their stock does not come back. To cancel or return with stock, change each order from its status badge.
  • One page at a time. A list shows 30 orders a page, and the header box ticks only the orders on the page you see.
  • Search first. You can search, see the results and tick from the results too.
  • Facebook Purchase: for orders placed on your shop, a bulk change to Processing or Complete can send the Purchase event, the same as changing them one by one (if Facebook Pixel & CAPI is set up).
  • No SMS goes to customers when the status changes.

Common problems

  • "Please Select An Order First !" No order was ticked. Tick at least one order, then press Status Change again.
  • I changed the wrong orders. Tick them again and set the status they had before. Check the stock in Products › Stock if any were cancelled or returned by mistake.
