When the factory writes about one of your orders, you see it on your dashboard and on the order in My Orders. Open the order, read the note under Notes to the seller, write your answer with Reply, and press Mark done when it is sorted.
Where to find it
- Your dashboard (the first link in Admin › My workspace): a notice "2 new note(s) from the factory about your orders" with a See them button, and a Notes from the factory card under My sales · this month while a note is open.
- My Orders (Admin › ERP › Sales Department › My Orders): the 📝 Notes from the factory filter above the list, and a coloured badge on each order with a note, for example "✂ Note from Cutting — 1 new".
- My workspace › Requests & messages: every note is kept there too, with a badge when something new comes.
The office (Super Admin, Admin, Manager) sees the same badges and filter in Seller orders for every page.
Step by step
- Press See them on your dashboard, or the 📝 Notes from the factory filter in My Orders.
- Click the badge on the order. The order opens at Notes to the seller.
- Read the note and look at its photo, if there is one. Opening the order marks the note as seen.
- Type your answer in Write an answer… and press Reply. The factory person sees it on the order and in their Requests & messages.
- When it is sorted, press ✔ Mark done. The note shows Done and leaves the open list.
Example: at Rangdhanu Fashion a seller's dashboard says "1 new note(s) from the factory". The cutting man asks whether RF1023 is size 40 or 42. The seller checks the chat with the customer, replies "42, the customer confirmed", and presses Mark done.
Video requests
If the factory pressed Ask seller for the video, the note says "Please send this order's video on WhatsApp". Under it you see a green Send on WhatsApp to … button that opens WhatsApp to that person, with the invoice already written. Or upload the video, or paste its link, in the order's Video box: the request is then marked done by itself. If the person has no phone number on their staff profile, the note asks you to send it to the factory WhatsApp group.
Good to know
- Only open notes count. A note marked done no longer shows in the badge, the filter or the dashboard card.
- "New" means a note or answer you have not read since it last changed.
- Either side can mark it done: you or the person who wrote it.
Common problems
- The badge stays after reading. Reading does not close a note. Press Mark done.
- I cannot find a note from yesterday. It was marked done. Open the order: done notes stay there, marked Done.
