How does the Data Entry Man write a note to the cutting or sewing people?

The Data Entry Man can write about an order not only to its seller but also to the cutting and sewing people. Open the order, write in Notes on this order, pick who gets it in the To list, and press Send note.

Where to find it

Open the order from Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Seller orders. The box Notes on this order is on the order's page.

It shows for staff whose job is Data Entry Man. Other people who write notes see the box as Notes to the seller, with the seller only.

Step by step

1. Open the order.
2. In Notes on this order, write the note. For example: "Customer changed the size to 42 before booking — please cut 42."
3. To show something, press Add a photo and choose one. A ✔ shows once it is chosen.
4. Open the To list and pick the person. Each name shows their part: Seller · …, Cutting · … or Sewing · ….
5. Press Send note. A message says, for example, "Note sent to Cutting · Rafiq about RF1023."

How it works

• Who is in the To list. Always the order's seller. Then, for cutting and sewing: the people who did that step on this order. If nobody has done the step yet, everyone whose job is Cutting Man (for cutting) or Sewing Operator (for sewing) is listed.
• The person who gets it finds the note on the order and in My workspace › Requests & messages. Both of you can answer with Reply and close it with ✔ Mark done.
• The note shows who wrote it with your job label, Data Entry Man.

Example: at Rangdhanu Fashion a seller calls the office: the customer of RF1023 wants a longer sleeve. Nobody has cut it yet, so the To list shows every Cutting Man. The Data Entry Man picks Rafiq, writes "Sleeve +1 inch, customer asked", and sends it.

Good to know

• One person per note. To tell two people, send two notes.
• Up to 2,000 characters and one photo per note.
• QC is not in the list. The Data Entry Man writes to cutting and sewing only.
• No list? When the seller is the only person who can get it, the box shows Send to the seller instead.

Common problems

• The person I want is not in the list. Their job on Users & logins is not Cutting Man or Sewing Operator, or someone else already did that step on this order (then only that person is listed).
• "You cannot write to this person." The list changed while the page was open. Reload the order and pick again.
