How do I add an Eid bonus, quality bonus or other cut?

Open the person's salary slip for the month and type the amount in the Typed by the office box, then press Save and work out again. The amount appears on the slip as its own line, with the reason you wrote.

Where to find it

Admin › ERP › HR Department › Payroll, pick the month, press the arrow at the end of the person's row. The Typed by the office box is on the right of the slip. Only the store owner (Super Admin) can open it.

Step by step

1. Open the slip of the person and the month.
2. In Typed by the office, type the amount in taka next to the line you want:
   • Eid bonus
   • Other bonus
   • Quality / rating bonus (not shown for office staff)
   • Sales added (e.g. ads were off) (sales staff only)
   • Other cut
3. In the box next to it, write why. This text shows on the slip after the line name, for example "Eid bonus — for Eid-ul-Fitr".
4. Add a Note for this month if you want one. It shows under the slip.
5. Press Save and work out again. The slip is worked out with your lines and the new To pay shows at the top.

Good to know

• Type plain amounts. Bonuses are added and Other cut is taken off; you never type a minus sign.
• One amount per line. To give two bonuses of the same kind, type them added together and say so in the reason.
• Sales added is not paid as money by itself. It is added to the person's sales for the month, so it can lift their sales level and commission.
• Typed lines are kept. When the slip is worked out again (by you or on the 1st), your amounts stay.
• To remove a line, clear its amount and press Save and work out again.
• Staff see it too. Bonus lines count in "Total bonus" and cuts in "Total fines / cuts" on the person's own My salary page, once the slip is checked.

Common problems

• The Typed by the office box is missing. The slip is checked or paid. For a checked slip press Open again, make the change, then check it again. A paid slip cannot be changed.
• The amount did not appear. An amount of 0 or an empty box adds no line.
