How do replacement orders count in seller sales?

A replacement is not a new sale. The order that came back counts nothing, and the replacement counts the amount the courier collected, once its own parcel is delivered. So the seller is paid for the sale once, when it really succeeds.

Where to find it

The figures show in:

  • Admin › ERP › HR Department › Payroll and the seller's salary slip;
  • the seller's My dashboard and Sales Team Update ("Sales that count this month (by delivery)");
  • the seller bonus race (My Bonus / Seller bonus).

How it works

Sales follow the courier's data, parcel by parcel:

  • The original came back. Its parcel is cancelled / returned, so it counts ৳0.
  • The replacement is delivered. It counts what the courier collected on its own parcel, plus any advance written on the replacement order.
  • The replacement is still on the way. It counts nothing yet. It is listed under parcels still on the way.
  • The replacement comes back too. It counts nothing.

Example: on 25 October a Rangdhanu Fashion seller sends RF100 for ৳5,000. It comes back. On 3 November she enters the replacement RF100R, and it is delivered the same day with ৳5,000 collected.

  • October's sales: ৳0 from RF100.
  • November's sales: ৳5,000 from RF100R, 1 delivered.
  • 3 November's order count: RF100R is not added. Only her new orders that day count.

Good to know

  • Left out of the day's order numbers. The original was already counted the day it was taken. The replacement's parcel is not added to the daily orders, and Orders today and Orders this month on My dashboard leave it out.
  • The month rule applies. A replacement counts in its own entry month when delivered by the 5th of the next month, otherwise in the month it is delivered, like every order.
  • The bonus race counts it the same way: when its parcel is delivered.
  • Partly delivered. If the customer keeps only part of the replacement, the amount the courier collected counts.
  • Enter it as a replacement. If a seller enters the remade order as an ordinary new order, it counts as a new order in the day. Use the Replace tick.

Common problems

  • The seller says a replacement is missing from her sales. Check its parcel. If it is still pending, it counts once delivered.
  • The day shows one order too many. The remade order was entered without the Replace tick. The order list's Replacements chip shows which ones were marked.
