How long are order videos kept, and how much space do they use?

Videos uploaded on orders take a lot of space, so they do not stay for ever. Each one is removed by itself 30 days after its order is delivered or cancelled. The store owner can change the number of days and the largest video allowed, and see how much space the videos take.

Where to find it

Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Courier & parcels › Couriers & keys, the Order videos card. Only the store owner (Super Admin) can open it.

How it works

When a video is removed. Every night the app checks the orders that have uploaded videos. A video goes when its order ended more than 30 days ago:

  • the order was cancelled (counted from its last change), or
  • its parcel was delivered, partly delivered or cancelled at the courier.

Orders still on the way keep their videos. After removal the order's Video box shows a line such as "Video removed after 30 days (12 Dec 2026)".

What is not removed. Video links (Google Drive, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp) stay on the order, and so do the photos.

The settings. On the Order videos card:

  1. Space used shows how much your store's uploaded videos take now.
  2. Largest video (MB): the biggest file a seller may upload, from 1 to 500. It starts at 50.
  3. Remove after (days from delivered / cancelled): from 1 to 365. It starts at 30.
  4. Press Save. "Order video settings saved."

Example: at Rangdhanu Fashion order RF1023 has a customer's video. The parcel is delivered on 2 November. The video stays while the customer might ask for a change, and is removed on the night after 2 December. The order then says the video was removed.

Good to know

  • Sellers see the rule under the upload box: how many videos, the size limit and the days.
  • Deleting an order removes its photos and videos at once.
  • Up to 2 videos per order always. The size limit is per video.
  • Want to keep a video longer? Download it from the order before the days run out, or save it as a link instead.

Common problems

  • A seller gets "Video too large". Raise Largest video (MB), or ask them to paste a link. Very large files can also be stopped by the upload limit of the server itself.
  • A video is gone but the parcel came back late. The days count from the delivered or cancelled status. Ask the seller to upload it again, or use a link.
