Month summary is everything you check at the end of a month, on one page: the month's sales, cost of goods, expenses and profit, how every account moved, what suppliers were billed and paid, and who spent how much.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › Accounts Department › Month summary (হিসাব বিভাগ › মাসের হিসাব).
It is part of the owner's money view: only the store owner (Super Admin) sees it. Money overview (owner) does not open it for staff, even when ticked.
How it works
The page opens on this month. Use the month button to pick This month, Last month or another month. Print gives a paper copy.
The four cards at the top come from Profit & loss for that month:
- Sales (delivered) – delivered orders placed in the month, and how many.
- Cost of goods – supplier bills plus stock bought, or the buying price of products sold.
- Expenses – from the cashbook.
- Profit (or Loss) – opens Profit & loss for the same month.
Then:
- Accounts and staff hand cash – each account with what it had At the start, money In, money Out and At the end, with totals. Accounts held by a staff member say who holds them. In and out include transfers between accounts, such as cash you gave a staff member.
- Suppliers – each supplier with Due at start, Billed, Paid and Due at end. Suppliers with nothing that month and nothing owed are left out.
- Money spent, by person – how much each person paid out, and in how many entries. Click an amount to see those entries.
- Money out, by category and Money in, by category – the month's cashbook totals per type. Click an amount to open those entries.
Good to know
- Example: Rangdhanu Fashion opens last month. The Cash account started at ৳40,000, took in ৳1,50,000, paid out ৳1,30,000 and ended at ৳60,000. Under "Money spent, by person", the shop manager paid out ৳22,000 in 14 entries, so the owner asks only about those.
- If some entries or supplier bills of the month are not checked yet, a yellow line says how many, with Check them.
- An account that is switched off and had nothing that month is not listed.
- The cost of goods follows the same starting choice as Profit & loss: buying prices if your products have them, otherwise supplier bills.
Common problems
- An account does not end where you expected. Click its name to open the account's statement for the same month and compare it line by line.
- A person shows a large amount. Click the amount to see their entries, and ask them about any that look wrong. Their new entries and any changes they ask for come to you in Need approval.
