What does the Finance overview show?

Finance overview is the owner's money page. In one screen it shows how much money you have in every account, this month's money in and out, what you owe suppliers, this month's profit, the last six months and the latest cashbook entries.

Where to find it

Admin › ERP › Accounts Department › Finance overview (হিসাব বিভাগ). The page itself is titled ERP.

It is for the store owner (Super Admin) only. Money overview (owner) does not open it for staff, even when ticked. Other staff who open it are taken to their own starting page instead, such as My cashbook.

How it works

The five cards at the top:

Money you have now – the total of all your active accounts today, and how many accounts.
Money in this month – every money-in entry in the cashbook since the 1st.
Money out this month – every money-out entry since the 1st. Transfers between your own accounts are not counted in either.
Supplier dues – what is due to all suppliers together.
Profit this month – from Profit & loss: delivered orders placed this month, less the cost of goods and expenses. It also says how many delivered orders that is.

Each card opens the screen behind it.

Under the cards:

Accounts – one tile per account with its balance. A balance below zero shows in red.
Last 6 months – bars for sales and costs (cost of goods plus expenses) each month. Point at a month to see sales, costs and profit.
This month's costs – your six biggest expense types this month.
Latest entries – the eight newest cashbook entries, with Open cashbook.

Good to know

Example: at Rangdhanu Fashion, "Money you have now" shows ৳1,25,000 in 3 accounts: Cash, a bank account and a bKash wallet. Each tile shows its own share.
If some cashbook entries are not checked yet, a yellow line says how many, with Look at them and a link to Month summary.
The owner also gets Transfer, Money in and Money out buttons at the top to add an entry without leaving the page.
The profit uses the same rules as Profit & loss. If your products have no buying price yet, that profit can look higher than it is.
On the packages, this page is part of "Profit & loss, CEO dashboard, business history".

Common problems

Finance overview is not in the sidebar. You are signed in as staff without the money view. Sign in as the owner.
An account balance looks wrong. Open the account tile to see its statement, and check its opening balance in Accounts.
