The Money summary at the top of Accounts is the owner's clean picture of the money for the dates you pick: where it came from, what was spent, the result, and where the money sits right now. Money that only moved between your own accounts is shown, but never counted as income or spending.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › Accounts Department › Accounts (হিসাব বিভাগ › অ্যাকাউন্ট), the Money summary card (টাকার সারসংক্ষেপ) above the list of accounts.
Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees it. It belongs to Money overview (owner), which opens for the Super Admin only, even when ticked for staff.
How it works
The card opens on This month. Use the date button on the card to pick other dates. It has three columns and a last line:
- Money came from: the total money in, split into Steadfast payouts received, Other sales money received, Factory sales, Other income (and money back from suppliers) and Owner / loan money in.
- Money spent: the total money out, split into Suppliers, Salaries, Advances to staff, Expenses and Owner / loan money out.
- Where the money is now: each active account's balance today, with the total, and Steadfast still holding (what Steadfast has not paid out to you yet).
- Moved between your accounts: how many moves and how much, such as ATM cash outs, bKash to cash or bank deposits. They are "not counted".
- Result: money came from minus money spent, in green when it is plus and red when it is minus.
Click a line to open those entries. Click an account name to open its statement.
Example: in November, Rangdhanu Fashion received ৳3,20,000 and spent ৳2,70,000, so the result is +৳50,000. The owner also took ৳40,000 out of the bank at an ATM. That ৳40,000 shows under Moved between your accounts and changes neither side.
Good to know
- The dates change the first two columns and the result. Where the money is now is always today's balances.
- Steadfast payouts count once, as money in, when they are placed in the cashbook. When some paid payouts are not placed yet, a line Steadfast payouts not placed in the cashbook yet shows their amount.
- Steadfast still holding shows "—" when Steadfast is not connected or cannot be reached. It is read again every 10 minutes.
- It agrees with the CEO dashboard. The money in and out here are worked out the same way as in Money position.
- A hand-over not confirmed yet (or refused) changes no balance and is not counted.
Common problems
- A payment I made is missing. Only cashbook entries are counted. Enter it in the Cashbook.
- Money spent looks too high after an ATM withdrawal. The withdrawal was entered as money out. Enter it as a Money transfer instead (way Cash out from ATM), so it becomes a move.
