How do orders from landing pages arrive?

An order placed through a landing page's order form arrives in Admin › Online store › Website orders, as a Pending order, just like an order from your shop's checkout. Your team confirms and sends it the same way.

Where to find it

  • The orders: Admin › Online store › Website orders (start with Pending).
  • The landing pages themselves: Admin › Online store › Pages & blog › Landing pages.

How it works

  1. A visitor opens your landing page, for example Rangdhanu Fashion's Eid three-piece offer.
  2. In the order form they write their name, mobile number and address, pick a delivery zone, choose an option (such as size) if the product has them, and set the quantity.
  3. They press the order button.
  4. The shop works out the price from the product itself (never from the form) and adds the delivery charge they picked. If the product has free shipping, delivery is ৳0.
  5. The order is saved with a new invoice number and cash on delivery as the payment, and the visitor sees a thank-you page.
  6. In your panel the order waits in Website orders › Pending.

What is the same as a shop order

  • Same list and statuses: confirm, edit, print, assign, send to the courier as usual.
  • Bell notification for your team.
  • Facebook Purchase is sent by your Facebook Pixel & CAPI settings, the same as shop orders.
  • Blocked numbers and IPs cannot order: they see "Sorry, we cannot take this order. Please call the shop."
  • Package order limit: landing page orders count towards it, and stop when it is reached.
  • Incomplete carts are cleaned up: if the same phone number had an unfinished cart from the last day, it goes to the trash and its stock comes back.

What is different

  • The customer gets your order SMS, the same as for checkout orders, when your SMS account is connected and "SMS the customer when an order is placed" is ticked.
  • No new-order email. The email alert to your admin email is not sent for landing page orders. Watch the bell and the Pending list.
  • Cash on delivery only. The landing page form has no online payment.
  • No incomplete orders. The form does not save the phone early, so a visitor who leaves the form does not appear in Incomplete orders.

Common problems

  • "Sorry, this shop cannot take new orders online right now." Your package's order limit is reached. See Package & billing.
  • An order has no delivery charge. If the product has free shipping, that is expected. Otherwise the visitor must pick a delivery zone; make sure you have charges in Shipping & returns › Delivery charges.
