What happens to my paid days when I change package?

Your paid days are not lost. When you pay for a different package before your end date, the value of the days you have left is turned into days on the new package and added to the months you pay for. Package & billing tells you the number before you pay.

Where to find it

Admin › Administration › Settings › Package & billing (প্রশাসন › সেটিং › প্যাকেজ ও বিল). Only the store owner sees this page and can pay.

How it works

1. The panel counts the whole days left until your current end date. The grace days after the end date are not counted.
2. It finds each package's daily price: the monthly price ÷ 30.
3. Days left × old daily price = the value you still have.
4. That value ÷ the new daily price = days on the new package, rounded down.
5. The new package starts on the day the payment is confirmed. Its end date is the months you paid for plus those extra days.

In short: days left × old monthly price ÷ new monthly price.

Example (made-up prices): "Rangdhanu Fashion" is on a package of ৳1,000 a month and has 30 days left. The owner moves up to a package of ৳2,500 a month and pays for 1 month.

• 30 × 1,000 ÷ 2,500 = 12 days.
• The new package runs 30 days (the month paid) + 12 days = 42 days from the day the payment is confirmed.

Moving down works the same way: 30 days on the ৳2,500 package become 75 days on the ৳1,000 one.

Good to know

• The page says it first. When you pick another package, a blue note shows, for example "30 days left on your current package will become 12 days on …, added to the months you pay for."
• Same package, no change of days. Renewing the package you already have simply adds the new months after your current end date.
• Nothing carries over when no days are left (for example during the grace days), or when the old or new package is free.
• The count is made when the payment is confirmed. A send-money payment waits for the eCommerce Autopilot team to check it, so a day may pass before the days are counted.
• Package prices are set by eCommerce Autopilot and can change. Check Package & billing for today's prices.

Common problems

• The blue note does not show. You picked the package you already have, your package has already ended, or you are on the free package.
• I got one day less than I worked out. The panel counts whole days left and rounds the result down.
