Go to Admin › Administration › Security › Customer fraud check, turn the switch High risk / Danger customer: red mark on the order, and ask "Advance taken?" before Send to Courier on or off, and press Save. It is on for a new store.
Where to find it
Admin › Administration › Security › Customer fraud check (the same card is under Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Courier & parcels › Couriers & keys). Only the store owner (Super Admin) can change it.
Step by step
- Open Customer fraud check.
- Find the switch that starts High risk / Danger customer.
- Turn it on to ask for an advance, or off to stop asking.
- Press Save. You see "Customer fraud check saved."
How it works
When the switch is on and someone presses Send to Courier on a Seller orders order whose customer shows High risk or Danger, a red box asks Advance taken? first. They can write the advance (it comes off the cash to collect), send without an advance (their name is noted on the order), or stop.
Example: Rangdhanu Fashion turns it on. The office presses Send to Courier on a seller's ৳1,800 order for a Danger customer. The box asks for the advance. The seller has taken ৳300 by bKash, so the office writes 300, and the parcel is booked with ৳1,500 to collect.
Good to know
- Off means no question. Orders go to the courier without asking, even for risky customers.
- The red mark stays. Risky orders still get their red mark on the list while the customer fraud check itself is on.
- The main switch wins. If Show the customer's record next to orders and parcels is off, there is no question and no red mark.
- Orders with an advance already written on them are sent without the question.
- Send selected to Courier skips risky orders that have no advance while the switch is on. Send those one by one.
- Website orders do not ask this question. It is for Seller orders.
Common problems
- The switch is not on the page. You are not the store owner. Only the Super Admin sees it; ask the owner.
- Some orders were "Not sent". You used Send selected to Courier with the switch on. Open each risky order and send it on its own.
