On a Premium or Custom package, WhatsApp marketing opens the WhatsApp campaigns page, where you send offers from the WhatsApp number connected to your Inbox. On other packages it opens the keys page: follow the steps on the WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta, official) card, paste the keys, press Save, then Test connection.

- Premium or Custom package: the link opens WhatsApp campaigns for the Super Admin, the Admin and the Marketing Manager (the WhatsApp marketing tick). Sellers do not see it.
- Other packages: only the store owner (Super Admin) sees the link, and it opens the keys page. Marketing channels (owner) does not open it for staff. After the free trial, the keys page needs a package with WhatsApp & email marketing keys.
Step by step (WhatsApp Cloud API)
- Use a phone number that is not on the WhatsApp app, or delete it from the app first.
- Follow the steps on the WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta, official) card. You make a Meta app, add your number, and create a system user's token that never expires.
- Paste the three values: Phone number ID, WhatsApp Business Account ID and Permanent access token.
- Press Save. The card shows ● keys saved once every box is filled.
- Press Test connection. A good answer shows Connected: with your business name and number.
WhatsApp Cloud API is the only service on this page. Twilio, 360dialog and WATI are no longer offered.
What the keys are used for
- The parcel message on WhatsApp. With WhatsApp Cloud API connected, the owner can send customers a WhatsApp message when their parcel goes to the courier. Switch it on in Admin › Administration › Settings › SMS under When an order goes to the courier, with an approved template name.
- Campaigns. Offers to many customers are sent from the WhatsApp campaigns page, with the WhatsApp number connected in Inbox settings (Premium or Custom package). They do not use the keys on this page.
Good to know
- Secrets are kept encrypted for your shop only. The page shows only the last 4 characters, such as ••••a1b2 saved — type to change.
- Leave a secret box empty when you save to keep the saved one.
- Remove keys deletes that service's saved keys.
- Meta charges for the message templates you send; connecting is free.
Common problems
- No Test connection button. It shows only after every box is filled and saved.
- "not connected:" with an error from Meta. The token has expired or lacks the WhatsApp permissions, or the Phone number ID is wrong. Make a new permanent token and save it.
- "WhatsApp & email marketing keys is in the … package." Your trial has ended. Choose a package in Package & billing.
