When the customer says yes on the phone, press Confirm order on their cart in Incomplete orders. The cart becomes a Pending order and opens at once, so you can check the details and save.
Where to find it
Admin › Online store › Website orders › Incomplete orders
For the store owner and staff with the Website orders feature.
Step by step
- Find the customer's cart in Incomplete orders (search by name, phone or invoice if needed).
- Press Confirm order.
- The panel asks: the customer said yes? Press OK.
- The order's edit page opens with the message "Order … confirmed — check the name, address and items, then save."
- Check the customer's name, the full address, the products, sizes and quantity, and the delivery charge. Shoppers often leave before typing all of these.
- Press save. The order now sits in Website orders › Pending like any other order, with the same invoice number.
If the customer does not want it
Press Not interested on the cart and confirm. The cart is moved to the trash and its goods go back to stock. Someone with Delete & restore orders can bring it back from the trash later if needed.
Good to know
- The invoice number stays the same. The cart already had one; confirming keeps it.
- The cart shows "Confirmed" for the team, with who confirmed it and when.
- Stock was already held by the cart, so confirming does not take the goods out a second time.
- If the customer orders by themselves on the website, you do not need to do anything. Their unfinished carts from the last day go to the trash on their own, and their stock comes back.
- After confirming, handle it like any new order: call to confirm if your shop does that, then change the status to Processing.
Common problems
- Confirm order shows an error page. The cart may already be gone: someone else closed it, or the customer finished the order themselves. Refresh the list.
- The address is empty. The customer left before typing it. Ask for it on the call and write it in before you save.
