The store owner can switch every AI feature off with one button: Admin › Autopilot AI › AI Usage & bills › Turn Autopilot AI off. Nothing else in the store changes, and you can turn it back on the same way.
Where to find it
Admin › Autopilot AI › AI Usage & bills, at the top next to the month's cost, with an On or Off label. Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees it.
Step by step
- Open AI Usage & bills.
- Press Turn Autopilot AI off.
- Confirm Turn off every AI feature in this store?
- The label shows Off. To start again, press Turn Autopilot AI on.
What changes while it is off
- Live chat: the chats go to the person chosen in Live chat settings.
- Inbox: no ✨ answers and no automatic AI answers.
- 1-Click AI Products, SEO Suggest and Teach your AI show Autopilot AI is switched off in this store.
- This also stops your own AI key, if you set one up.
- What the AI learned is kept, and your settings stay as they were. Turning it on brings everything back.
Good to know
- No AI use, no new cost. While it is off, nothing is added to your AI bill. A bill already made for an earlier month still needs paying.
- Only part of it? You do not have to turn it all off. Set Live chat's Who answers to a person, or set the inbox's Automatic answers to Off, and keep the rest.
