Go to Production Department › Sales from factory. Press Add a sale for things the factory sells, like waste fabric or bags, by kg and taka. Press Customer order when a customer orders something at the factory; it becomes a full ERP order you can print.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › Production Department › Sales from factory.
You see it if you have Own cash wallet. Admin, Manager and Production Manager have it from the start; the store owner sees it always.
Step by step: a sale
- Press Add a sale.
- Pick the Date (today or earlier).
- In What, pick the item. The first time, pick Other — a new name… and type it (for example "Cotton waste"). The name stays on the list for next time.
- Write the Kg (optional) and the Taka (required).
- Add the Buyer and a Note if you like.
- In Money went into, pick the account the cash went to, or leave "not in the cashbook".
- Press Save.
Step by step: a customer order
- Press Customer order.
- Fill in Date, Customer name, Phone and, if needed, Address.
- Write What to make, the Colour / fabric and any Special note for sewing & cutting.
- Enter the Price (taka) and what was Paid now, and pick the account in Money went into.
- Add Photos of the design if you have them (up to 10).
- Press Save order.
The order gets its own invoice number under a page called "Factory (customers who come to the factory)". It is not sent to any courier. In the sales list, use A4 and Factory card to print it; the print carries a QR code, so the factory can submit work on it like any other order.
Good to know
- Money in the cashbook. If you pick an account, the amount goes in as income under "Sales from factory". For a customer order, only the Paid now amount goes in.
- Totals. The top shows totals per item (with taka per kg when kg is given) and a grand total. By month on the right sums each month. The page starts on all time.
- Sellers' orders waiting at the factory. Orders a seller marked "customer takes it from the factory" show in a box at the top, to hand over and take the money.
- Changes after saving. The store owner edits or removes directly. Others change or remove their own entries, and the change waits for the Super Admin's approval (marked "waiting"). A customer order is changed from its order page.
Common problems
- I cannot remove a customer order. It is already with a courier or the factory has worked on it. Cancel it from the order page instead.
- The account I want is not in Money went into. You can only use the accounts given to you. Ask the store owner.
