Factory work tracking shows who did each step of every order: cutting, sewing and QC. When a worker finishes their step, they photograph the order page from their phone. The panel finds the order, saves the step with the photo, and counts it against that person's target.
Where to find it
- Workers submit from Admin › My workspace › Submit work.
- The office sees everything in Admin › ERP › Production Department › Factory work.
Workers need the job Cutting Man, Sewing Operator, QC Man or Helper. These jobs come with the feature Factory work: submit cutting / sewing / QC. The office here means Super Admin, Admin and Manager.
How it works
- A seller takes an order and it is sent to the courier. The office prints the factory card.
- The cutting worker finishes and photographs the card. The QR code tells the panel which order it is. They press Submit.
- The same happens at sewing, then at QC.
- Each step is saved once per order, with who did it, when, and the photo.
For example, at Rangdhanu Fashion order RF1023 shows "Cutting by Karim", then sewing and QC as they are done.
The Factory work screen then shows:
- Totals of cutting, sewing and QC for the chosen dates.
- Targets: each person's hours worked, target, done and what is left.
- Who did how many and Day by day (office only).
- The work sheet: every step with the order's customer, address, amount, details and the photo.
Good to know
- Workers see only their own work. The office sees everyone's.
- Exceptional work. A step outside the person's own job is recorded but not counted in their target.
- The seller sees it too. On their orders, the seller sees who did each step.
- Targets need attendance. Hours come from the card machine, so link each worker's login to a staff profile.
- One entry per step. If someone else already submitted a step for an order, a worker cannot submit it again. They are told to ask the office.
- Removing a wrong entry is for the Super Admin and Admin only.
Common problems
- A worker has no Submit work link. Their login has no factory job. Set it in Users & logins.
- "No factory people yet" on the Targets table. Nobody has the job Cutting Man, Sewing Operator or QC Man yet.
