Open Order & upsell popups, set Show Order Pop Up and Show Up Sale Pop Up to Enable, and press Update. The first shows shoppers small "A customer just bought" notes. The second suggests more products right after someone places an order. Each one can be switched on or off by itself.
Where to find it
Admin › Online store › Offers & discounts › Order & upsell popups (অর্ডার ও আপসেল পপআপ). The page itself is titled AI & Automation Settings.
The store owner can always use it. Staff need the Website design access on their login (the Admin role has it).
Step by step
- Open Order & upsell popups.
- Under Show Order Pop Up, choose Enable (or Disable).
- Under Show Up Sale Pop Up, choose Enable (or Disable).
- Press Update. You see "Site settings has been updated".
How it works
Order popup ("A customer just bought")
- A small note with a product photo and name appears on your shop's home page.
- The products come from the latest orders of your own shop (up to the last 50 ordered items).
- The first note shows 3 seconds after the page opens and stays for 5 seconds. A new one follows every 25 seconds, going through the list.
- It shows no customer names or phone numbers, only the product.
Upsell popup ("You might also like 🔥")
- Right after a customer orders through your shop's checkout, the thank-you page opens a window with four products from your shop, picked at random each time.
- The customer can open a product from there, or press No thanks, continue to close it.
Example: "Rangdhanu Fashion" turns on both. A visitor on the home page sees "A customer just bought – Cotton Kurti", and a customer who just ordered a saree is shown four more items before leaving.
Good to know
- The order popup needs orders. A brand-new shop with no orders has nothing to show yet.
- The order popup is part of the Default home page. If you applied any other design in Store themes, the home page is drawn by that theme and this note does not appear there.
- Landing page orders have their own thank-you page, so the upsell popup appears only for orders placed through the shop's normal checkout.
- Each switch is separate. Turning one popup off does not change the other.
Common problems
- I enabled the order popup but see nothing. Check that your shop has orders and that you are on the home page, and wait a few seconds. If your shop uses a theme other than Default, see the note above.
- Pressing Update is refused. Your login needs the Website design access; ask the owner.
