How do I give a page's seller their own login?

Open Pages & people, press Give login on the seller's page, type their name, a login name and a password, and press Save. The seller then signs in and sees only that page.

Where to find it

Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Sales team › Pages & people, in the Login column of each page. The button shows for the owner and for staff who may make users.

Step by step

  1. Go to Admin › ERP › Sales Department › Sales team and press Pages & people.
  2. Find the page and press Give login in its Login column.
  3. Their name: the seller's name (filled from the page if you set one).
  4. Login name: what they type to sign in, for example shapla. Letters, numbers, - or _, at least 3 characters.
  5. Password and Again: the same password twice, at least 8 characters.
  6. Press Save. The message tells you the sign-in address (your store's /admin) and the login name.
  7. Give the login name and password to the seller yourself. The panel does not send them anywhere.

Good to know

  • The new login gets the job Seller with the feature Seller: own page only (and the inbox for their own chats). You can change their ticks later in Admin › Administration › Users & access › Users & logins.
  • A Seller sees only the pages they run: My Orders, Sales Team Update, My Bonus and their own parcels.
  • Forgot password? The same button now says New password. Press it, type a new password twice and press Save. The login name stays the same.
  • A page run by the store owner (Super Admin) cannot get a new password here. Change it on the Users page.
  • One person can run several pages: choose their existing login under Their login (optional) when you edit the other page.

Common problems

  • "That login name is taken — try another." Login names are unique across the whole system. Add a number or your shop's letters (for example shapla-rf).
  • The password boxes do not match. Type the same password in Password and Again.
  • The seller sees "No page is given to you yet". Their login is not chosen as the person running any page. Edit the page and pick their login.
