Some products are missing from my Facebook catalog

A product is left out of the Facebook catalog feed when it has no photo, no price, is hidden in the shop or is set to Hide from Google. Fix that on the product, press Save, and the feed is rebuilt at once. Meta shows the change after its next read of the feed.

Where to find it

The feed switch and address are in Admin › Online store › Tracking & codes › Facebook Pixel & CAPI, card Facebook catalog (product feed) (owner only). The products themselves are in Admin › Online store › Products.

Common problems

  • Commerce Manager says the address is not found. The feed is off. Press Turn the feed on and copy the address again. While it is off the address opens "not found".
  • One product is missing. Open the product and check:
    1. It has a main photo.
    2. It has a price above ৳0 (for a variable product, the first size or colour has a price).
    3. It is shown in the shop, not hidden.
    4. It is not set to Hide from Google. Then press Save.
  • I changed a product but Facebook shows the old price. Your feed is already updated. Meta reads it on the schedule you set in Commerce Manager (daily or hourly). Commerce Manager also lets you fetch a feed by hand.
  • Each size and colour is not a separate item. That is by design: the feed has one item per product, because each product has one page and one price.
  • Catalog ads show the wrong products. Connect the catalog to the same Pixel your shop uses (Catalog › Events in Commerce Manager). The item ids are your product ids, the same ones your Pixel sends.

Good to know

  • The Facebook feed lists the same products as the Google Merchant Center feed, so a product missing from one is missing from the other for the same reason.
  • Example: Rangdhanu Fashion adds a new kurti without a photo to take orders early. It does not appear in the catalog. After the photo is uploaded and the product saved, it is in the feed, and Facebook shows it after its next daily fetch.
