How do I see which customers owe me money?

Customer dues is the list of cashbook sales the customer has not fully paid yet: who owes how much, since when, and from which entry. Collect a due straight from the list.

Where to find it

Admin › ERP › Accounts Department › Customer dues (হিসাব বিভাগ › কাস্টমারের বকেয়া). The cashbook also has a Customer dues button at the top.

How it works

Three tabs. Still due (the default), Paid and All. Search by the customer's name, phone or the reference with Find.

Each row, oldest sale first:

Column What it shows
Sale The sale's date, and how long ago ("12 days ago") while it is still due
Customer Name and phone; the category, account and reference; who entered it; an entries link to all their cashbook entries
Bill The total bill
Paid Paid now plus everything collected later (for example "৳1,000 + ৳800 later")
Due What is due, or a green Paid

The totals. People who see every due also see, at the top, Customer dues (to collect) (the taka due) and Sales with a due (how many sales).

Example: at Rangdhanu Fashion the owner opens Customer dues on the 1st of the month. The top says ৳14,600 owed from 6 sales. The oldest is 40 days old. She calls that customer first and collects ৳2,000 from the same screen.

Who sees what

Who Sees
Store owner (Super Admin) Every due and the totals
Admin, Production Manager Every due and the totals; they collect any of them
Others with Own cash wallet (for example a Manager) Only the sales they entered themselves

People without a cashbook do not see this page.

Good to know

  • The owner's dashboard counts dues too. Money position on the CEO dashboard adds a "Customer dues (to collect)" line when something is owed, and Spending by category shows a dues tile. Dues are never counted as money in.
  • Which sales appear. Only money-in entries in a category ticked Sale — can have a due, saved with a total bill.

Common problems

  • A sale is missing. It was saved without a Total bill, or in a category without the due tick. Ask the owner to edit the entry.
  • A staff member sees only a few dues. They see only the sales they entered, unless they are an Admin or Production Manager.
