Open the account, choose Counts on the CEO dashboard as and pick Cash (yours), Factory cash or Office cash, then press Save. The CEO dashboard adds the account's balance to that place in its Cash now column.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › Accounts Department › Accounts › Add account, or the pen icon on an account › Counts on the CEO dashboard as (CEO ড্যাশবোর্ডে যেখানে গোনা হবে).
Only the store owner (Super Admin) sets up accounts and sees the CEO dashboard.
Step by step
- Go to Accounts.
- Press the pen icon on the account, or Add account for a new one.
- Under Counts on the CEO dashboard as, choose:
- Cash (yours): your own money, such as banks, bKash, Nagad and your cash box. This is the default.
- Factory cash: the cash kept and spent at the factory.
- Office cash: the cash kept and spent at the office.
- Press Save.
How it works
On the CEO dashboard, the Cash now column in the top card adds up every active account's balance by its place:
- CEO Cash: all accounts set to Cash (yours), and every account where no place was chosen.
- Factory cash and Office cash: the accounts set to those places.
- Total cash: the three together.
Example: Rangdhanu Fashion has "City Bank" (৳1,50,000) and "bKash Merchant" (৳30,000), both Cash (yours), "Factory cash box" (৳8,000) set to Factory cash, and "Office cash" (৳4,500) set to Office cash. The dashboard shows CEO Cash +৳1,80,000, Factory cash +৳8,000, Office cash +৳4,500, and Total cash +৳1,92,500.
Good to know
- The place changes only where the money is shown. It does not change who can use the account. Give the account to the person who holds the cash with Held by or Other staff who may use this account.
- Hidden accounts are left out. Only active accounts are counted.
- A minus balance shows as minus, so you can see at once when a place has spent more than it had.
- You can change the place at any time. Old entries stay as they are; only the dashboard's grouping changes.
Common problems
- Factory cash shows ৳0. No account is set to Factory cash yet. Edit the factory's account and choose it.
- The factory's money is counted in my CEO Cash. The account has no place, so it counts as yours. Set it to Factory cash.
