The "Call us" button is a WhatsApp message with a call button in it. The customer taps it and calls your store at once, without looking for the call icon. It goes by itself once in each WhatsApp chat, after your first answer, and a seller can send it again any time.
Where to find it
- It works when calls are on for the number: Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox settings (সিআরএম › ইনবক্স › ইনবক্স সেটিংস) › 3. Connected pages › Calls: On.
- Send it by hand: in a WhatsApp chat in Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox, press the phone-with-waves icon in the tools next to the reply box (its hint says "Send the 'Call us' button (one tap and the customer calls us)"). On a phone: ⋮ Chat info › Call button (কল বাটন).
The seller who has the chat, or anyone with Inbox — every chat, can send it.
How it works
- The message. The customer gets: "সরাসরি কথা বলতে বা জানতে নিচের বাটনে চাপ দিয়ে আমাদের WhatsApp-এ কল করুন।" with a button কল করুন.
- Once by itself. After a seller's first answer in a WhatsApp chat, the button is sent automatically, if calls are on for the number and the chat is inside WhatsApp's 24-hour window. It is never sent by itself twice in the same chat.
- Any time by hand. The seller can send it again, for example after a long talk about sizes.
- In the chat. It shows as "📞 Sent the "Call us" button".
- The call rings the chat's seller, like any customer call.
Example: a customer asks Rangdhanu Fashion about a saree. Nasrin answers with the price. Right after, the customer also gets the "কল করুন" button. Later the customer taps it, and Nasrin's screen rings.
Good to know
- The button stays usable for up to 30 days after it is sent.
- No permission needed. The customer calls you, so the "May we call you?" request is not needed for this.
- Turned calls off? The button is not sent any more, and the send icon disappears from the chat.
- Your answer always goes. If the button fails to send by itself, your answer has still gone; you can send the button by hand.
Common problems
- "Not sent: …" under the reply box. WhatsApp refused it, and the reason follows. If the customer's last message is more than 24 hours old, WhatsApp may refuse it; send it after the customer writes again.
