A customer's WhatsApp call rings only for the seller who has that chat. It rings on any admin page they have open, whether they are Available or not. If no seller has the chat, it rings the office.
Where to find it
There is nothing to set. The call card pops up at the bottom of any admin page for people with the Inbox — own chats or Inbox — every chat tick, once calls are on for a WhatsApp number in Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox settings (সিআরএম › ইনবক্স › ইনবক্স সেটিংস).
How it works
- The chat's seller. If the customer's chat is with a seller, only that seller's screen rings. The customer is their customer, so the call is theirs too.
- Available does not matter. The seller does not need to be Available for new chats. Having any admin page open is enough.
- A new customer. If the chat has no seller yet, it is first given to a seller as usual, by the shares. Then it rings for that seller.
- Still no seller. If nobody can be given the chat (no shares set, everyone off), the call rings the office: the owner (Super Admin), the Admins, and staff with Inbox — every chat. The first to press Answer takes the call, and the chat becomes theirs.
- Not now. Pressing Not now stops the ringing for you. When everyone it rang for has pressed it, the customer hears the call declined.
- Nobody there. If the seller has no admin page open, nothing rings anywhere else. The chat gets a "📞 Missed call" line and waits for an answer.
Example: Rumana has the chat of a Rangdhanu Fashion customer from yesterday. Today she is not Available, but the Products page is open. The customer calls: only Rumana's screen rings, not the other sellers'.
Good to know
- The ring lasts up to about 55 seconds (Meta lets a call ring 30–60 seconds).
- Someone else took it? If two people in the office press Answer, the second sees "This call was already taken or has ended."
- Want another seller to get the calls? Move the chat to them. Calls follow the chat's seller.
- Desktop notice. If you have allowed notifications for the site, a "WhatsApp call" notice also shows with the customer's name.
