Your Store ID is a 6-digit number, like #482913, that belongs to your store alone. Give it to the eCommerce Autopilot team whenever you ask for help, so they know at once which store is yours.
Where to find it
Admin › My workspace › Store ID (আমার কাজ › স্টোর আইডি). The number also shows next to the link in the menu, so you can read it without opening the page.
Everyone who works in the store's admin panel sees it, from the owner to every staff member.
How it works
The Store ID page shows:
- the number in large type, with a Copy button;
- your Store name;
- your Main address, the address shoppers are sent to;
- your Free address, when it is not the main one.
Each store gets its number when it is made. The number is picked at random, so it says nothing about how big or old your store is.
Example: the owner of "Rangdhanu Fashion" writes to support about a payment. She opens Store ID, presses Copy and pastes "482913" into her message. Support finds her store straight away, even though other shops have similar names.
Good to know
- It never changes. Your store keeps the same number for good.
- It is never given twice. No other store gets your number, not even after a store is closed and deleted.
- It is not a password. It only tells support which store you mean. Nobody can sign in with it.
- Staff can give it too. If a staff member contacts support for the store, they can use the same number.
- Keep it with your web address. Your free address and your own domain can change; the Store ID does not, so it is the surest way to name your store.
- Different from courier "Store ID"s. Some couriers, like Pathao, also use a "store ID" in their own settings. That is the courier's number, not this one.
Common problems
- The link is not in my menu. Look at the very top of the sidebar, under My workspace. When the panel is in Bangla, it is called স্টোর আইডি.
- Support asks which store I mean. Copy the number from Store ID and send it with your Facebook group post or Give Feedback message.
