Where do I see customers who signed up on my website?

People who made an account on your shop are in the Customer List. It is at your store address followed by /admin/customers. It shows each person's name, username, email and mobile.

Where to find it

The Customer List has no link of its own in the sidebar. Open it by adding /admin/customers to your store's admin address. Where your store dashboard shows a Customers card, that card opens it too.

It needs the Website customer accounts tick. Admin, Manager, Store Manager and Moderator get it with their role. A Supervisor or Courier Manager can be given it. The store owner always has it.

How it works

  • Who is listed: shoppers who signed up on your shop, and shoppers who ordered without signing in. A guest checkout keeps their name and mobile as a customer record, so they appear here too, usually with no username or email.
  • Who is not listed: your staff. Logins with a job role are left out.
  • Columns: First Name, Last Name, Username, Email, Mobile. 30 people a page.
  • Search: the box searches first name, last name, email and username. It does not search mobile numbers.
  • Export: the Export button downloads customer_list.xlsx with Customer Name, Username, Email and Phone.
  • Every store sees only its own customers.

Good to know

  • To see a customer's orders, use Admin › CRM › Customers › Customers instead. There each mobile number is one customer, with orders, money spent, notes and tags.
  • To search by mobile, use the CRM customer list too. Its search takes name, mobile or email.
  • Customers who also buy from other shops. One customer account works on every shop on eCommerce Autopilot. It joins your list the first time that customer signs in on your shop. Its sign-in details belong to the customer, so you cannot change it from your admin ("This is a customer's own sign-in account; it can't be changed from the store admin.").
  • Export is for the owner. The Export button sits under the owner's payments part, so it also needs Payments & profit (owner).

Common problems

  • A staff member gets "You do not have access to: Website customer accounts". Tick Website customer accounts for them in Admin › Administration › Users & access › Users & logins.
  • Export says "You do not have access to: Payments & profit (owner)". Only the store owner (Super Admin) can export this list. The CRM's Export CSV works with CRM — see customers.
  • You cannot find a customer by phone number. This list does not search mobiles. Search the CRM customer list.
