How does the customer list build itself?

You never type your customers in one by one. Every mobile number that places an order becomes one customer in the CRM, and their numbers (orders, deliveries, money spent) update by themselves each time an order changes.

Where to find it

Admin › CRM › Customers › Customers. It needs the CRM — see customers tick.

How it works

One customer per mobile number. The number is cleaned into the form 01XXXXXXXXX, however it was typed. "+880 1XXX-XXXXXX", "8801XXXXXXXXX" and "01XXXXXXXXX" are the same customer.

Where customers come from:

  • Website orders — from the shop, landing pages and orders made in the admin panel.
  • Courier parcels booked for your Facebook pages that are not linked to a website order.
  • Sellers' orders entered in the ERP that have no parcel yet.

When it updates: right after an order is saved or deleted, a seller's order is saved, or a parcel is booked or changes.

What is counted:

  • Orders — every real order (not deleted, not an unfinished checkout).
  • Delivered — orders marked Complete, and parcels delivered or partly delivered.
  • Cancelled/Returned — orders marked Cancelled, Return or Fake, and cancelled parcels.
  • Total spent — the amount of delivered orders, plus the cash collected on delivered parcels.
  • First and last order dates.

Details are filled, never overwritten. If the customer has no name, email, address or district yet, it is taken from their newest order. Anything your staff typed stays as it is.

Example: at Rangdhanu Fashion, Shima orders on the website as "+8801XXXXXXXXX" and later on the Facebook page as "01XXXXXXXXX". The CRM shows one customer, Shima, with 2 orders.

Good to know

  • Unfinished checkouts (shoppers who typed their number and left) are counted apart. A number with only those is in the Abandoned checkout group.
  • Deleted orders. If every order of a number is deleted and nobody worked with that customer (no notes, tasks, tags or staff), the customer is removed. If your team worked with them, they stay.
  • Each store has its own list. One store never sees another store's customers.

Common problems

  • Numbers look wrong or old customers are missing (for example, on first use). Open Group rules on the Customers page and press Refresh numbers. Every customer is counted again from the orders. Notes and tags are kept. You can press it up to 3 times a minute. The button needs CRM — work with customers.
