The CEO dashboard and the store dashboard show your whole business, so they are for the store owner (Super Admin) only. Every staff member, the Admin too, starts on their own dashboard instead, with the numbers of their own work.
Where to find it
- Staff: Admin › My workspace ›
Dashboard (আমার কাজ), for example Seller Dashboard or Courier Dashboard. The address is/admin/my-dashboard. - Owner: Admin › CEO DASHBOARD (সিইও ড্যাশবোর্ড), the first link in the sidebar. The address is
/admin/dashboard.
The tick box behind the dashboards is Dashboards (owner) on the user form, in Admin › Administration › Users & access › Users & logins.
How it works
Dashboards (owner) is one of the owner's features. Like profit, salaries and keys, it opens for the store's Super Admin only, even if it is ticked for someone. No role ticks it by itself.
So for staff:
- The CEO DASHBOARD link is not in their sidebar.
- After signing in they land on their own dashboard.
- If they open
/admin/dashboardfrom an old bookmark, they are sent to their own dashboard. - A link they were sent before signing in is followed only when they may open it.
Example: the Admin at "Rangdhanu Fashion" used to start on the store dashboard. Now she starts on Admin Dashboard, with her own reminders and cards, while the owner keeps the CEO dashboard.
Good to know
- Ticking the box does nothing for staff. The form marks it Owner only — keep for Super Admin.
- Staff still see their own numbers. My dashboard shows cards for their job: orders, parcels, factory work, attendance, tasks and more.
- For order and product numbers, give Order & product reports. They then open Order report and Product report under Admin › Online store › Store reports.
- The owner has no My dashboard. The owner's home is the CEO dashboard.
Common problems
- "I ticked Dashboards and they still cannot see it." That is expected: the dashboards are the owner's alone.
- A staff member's dashboard has few cards. The cards follow their job and ticks. Add the ticks for the work they do in Users & logins.
