Open Mistakes & fines as the store owner, type the amount in Fine for each mistake (৳) at the bottom and press Save. Every new tag from then on carries that fine, and it comes off the person's salary for that month.
Where to find it
Admin › ERP › Production Department › Mistakes & fines (প্রোডাকশন বিভাগ › ভুল ও জরিমানা), in the Everyone view.
Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees the fine box. The fine is money, so Admin and Manager cannot change it.
Step by step
- Go to Admin › ERP › Production Department › Mistakes & fines.
- Make sure Everyone is selected at the top (it is, when you open it from the sidebar).
- Scroll to the bottom, to Fine for each mistake (৳).
- Type the amount in whole taka, for example 50.
- Press Save.
A message confirms it: "Fine for each mistake: ৳50 (new tags)". The line under the page title also shows the current amount to everyone.
Good to know
- It starts at ৳0. Until you set an amount, people can still tag mistakes, but no money is taken. This is a good way to start: let the team get used to tagging, then set a fine.
- New tags only. The amount is saved on each tag when it is given. Changing it later does not change old tags. Each tag keeps the fine it was given with.
- Allowed amounts: from ৳0 up to ৳100,000.
- Setting it back to 0 stops fines on new tags. Old tags keep their amount.
- How it reaches the salary: when the month's salary is worked out (HR Department › Payroll), the person's tags from that month come off as one line, "Mistake fines (n tag(s))". This works when the staff profile is linked to the person's login.
- A salary already worked out: if a tag is given or removed after the salary was worked out, open the salary slip and press Work out again (while the slip is not yet checked).
Common problems
- I do not see the fine box. You are on the Mine view, or you are not the store owner. Press Everyone, or sign in as the owner.
- The fine is not on someone's salary. Their staff profile is not linked to their login, or the tag was removed.
