A missed WhatsApp call shows in the customer's chat as a "📞 Missed call" line. The chat counts as unread and moves to Customer waiting (my turn), just like a new message, so the seller knows to call back or write.
Where to find it
Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox (সিআরএম › ইনবক্স), tab Customer waiting (my turn) for a seller, or Customer waiting (our turn) for people who see every chat. The waiting number also shows on Inbox in the menu.
How it works
A call is missed when nobody answers it while it rings, or when everyone it rang for pressed Not now. Then:
- The chat gets one line for the call: "📞 Missed call" (or "📞 Call failed" if the call broke).
- The chat counts one more unread message, with the call as its latest message.
- The customer is now waiting for your answer, so the chat is in Customer waiting, as for a written message.
Example: a customer of Rangdhanu Fashion calls at lunch time and nobody picks up. When Sumi opens the Inbox, the chat is in Customer waiting (my turn) with "📞 Missed call". She opens it and presses Call, or writes "Sorry we missed your call, how can we help?"
Step by step: call back
- Open the chat with the missed call.
- Press Call at the top of the chat.
- If the customer called you, WhatsApp usually lets you call back for a while without asking. If the panel asks to send a "May we call you?" request, send it and call when they allow.
- Or simply write to them in the chat.
Good to know
- Calls you did not take are not passed on. A call rings only the chat's seller; it does not move to another seller if they are away.
- Every call stays in the chat. Answered calls show the length and who took them, e.g. "📞 Call · 1:40 · answered by Sumi".
- Pressing Not now when you alone were rung also makes it a missed call in the chat.
