There are two ways. The staff member sends a Fine waiver request that picks the custom fine, and the Super Admin or an Admin approves it. Or the Super Admin or an Admin presses Forgive (or removes it) on the Custom fines page. Either way the fine is not cut from the salary.
Where to find it
- Staff: Admin › My workspace › My salary (আমার বেতন) › My custom fines › Ask to forgive.
- Office: Admin › ERP › HR Department › Custom fines (এইচআর বিভাগ › কাস্টম জরিমানা).
Step by step (staff)
- Open My salary. Under My custom fines, find the fine.
- Press Ask to forgive. The Fine waiver request form opens with that fine picked in Which fine.
- Check To. It goes to All Super Admins unless you change it.
- Write why in the box and press Send.
- On My salary the fine now says Asked to forgive — waiting.
You can also start from Requests & messages › Fine waiver request and pick the fine in Which fine. Only your own fines from the last 3 months that are not forgiven yet are listed.
Step by step (office)
- Open Custom fines and pick the fine's month.
- Press Forgive on the row and confirm. The row shows Forgiven, the date and who forgave it.
- Or press the bin to remove a fine added by mistake. It disappears from the list.
What happens
- Approved or forgiven: the fine is struck through and not cut. The month's salary is worked out again.
- Rejected: the fine stays Cut from the … salary, and My salary says Request to forgive was rejected.
- Approving a request that picked a custom fine forgives only that fine. The day's attendance does not change.
Good to know
- Who decides. Only the Super Admin or an Admin, and never for their own fine or request.
- Checked or paid slips do not change. The message says to open that salary again in Payroll.
- Forgive or remove? Forgive keeps the fine in the list as forgiven. Remove is for a fine that should never have been added.
- Late or missing-punch fines are forgiven with the same request type: choose A late, missing punch or absent day in Which fine and pick the day.
