How do I connect ShurjoPay?

Go to Admin › Administration › Settings › Online payments. On the ShurjoPay card, write your Merchant username, Merchant password and Order prefix, switch on Show at checkout and press Save.

Where to find it

Admin › Administration › Settings › Online payments, the green ShurjoPay card.

This page belongs to the feature Payments & profit (owner). The store owner always has it. It is marked "Owner only" on the user form, so keep it for the owner.

Step by step

  1. Sign up as a merchant at shurjopay.com.bd.
  2. ShurjoPay sends you a merchant username, a password and an order prefix.
  3. In your shop's panel, open Online payments and find the ShurjoPay card.
  4. Write the Merchant username and the Merchant password.
  5. Write the Order prefix (e.g. SP) ShurjoPay gave you.
  6. Switch on Show at checkout. Leave Test mode (sandbox — no real money) off for real payments.
  7. Press Save. You see "ShurjoPay: saved — customers can pay with it now." and the card shows On at checkout.

How it works for the customer

At checkout the customer picks ShurjoPay ("Card, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, bank") and presses Confirm order. The order is saved, then the customer goes to ShurjoPay's page to pay. When they come back, your shop asks ShurjoPay whether the full amount came for that order. Only then is the order marked paid, with ShurjoPay's transaction ID.

Good to know

  • Order prefix: if you leave it empty, "SP" is used. Username and password are needed; the prefix is not.
  • Test mode sends payments to ShurjoPay's sandbox, where no real money moves. Use the details ShurjoPay gives you for the sandbox, and switch Test mode off when you go live.
  • The password is never shown again. After saving, its box stays empty with "saved — leave empty to keep it". Leave it empty to keep it, or type a new one to replace it.
  • Your own account. The money goes to your own ShurjoPay merchant account.

Common problems

  • "ShurjoPay: saved, but it stays off at checkout until every box is filled." Write both the username and the password, then save again.
  • Customers see "The online payment could not open — you can pay on delivery." ShurjoPay did not accept the username or password, or Test mode does not match the details you wrote. Check both, then place a small test order.
  • A customer paid but the order still shows cod. The customer did not come back to your shop after paying, so the check could not run. See the payment in your ShurjoPay merchant panel and record it by hand.
