How do I connect aamarPay?

Go to Admin › Administration › Settings › Online payments. On the aamarPay card, write your Store ID and Signature key, switch on Show at checkout and press Save. Your customers can then pay with aamarPay at checkout.

Admin › Administration › Settings › Online payments, the orange aamarPay card.

This page belongs to the feature Payments & profit (owner). The store owner always has it. It is marked "Owner only" on the user form, so keep it for the owner.

Step by step

1. Sign up as a merchant at aamarpay.com and send the documents they ask for.
2. In your aamarPay merchant panel, copy the Store ID and the Signature key.
3. In your shop's panel, open Online payments and find the aamarPay card.
4. Write the Store ID and the Signature key.
5. Switch on Show at checkout.
6. Leave Test mode (sandbox — no real money) off for real payments.
7. Press Save. You see "aamarPay: saved — customers can pay with it now." and the card shows On at checkout.

How it works for the customer

At checkout the customer picks aamarPay ("Card, bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, bank"), presses Confirm order and goes to aamarPay's payment page. The order is saved first. When they come back, your shop asks aamarPay whether the full amount came for that order. Only then is the order marked paid.

Good to know

• Your own account. The money goes to your own aamarPay merchant account. Each store uses its own keys.
• Try it first. Tick Test mode to use aamarPay's sandbox. aamarPay's sandbox uses the store ID "aamarpaytest" with the sandbox signature key aamarPay gives for testing.
• The Signature key is never shown again. After saving, its box stays empty with "saved — leave empty to keep it". Leave it empty to keep the saved key, or type a new one to replace it.
• Cash on delivery always stays at checkout, next to aamarPay.

Common problems

• "aamarPay: saved, but it stays off at checkout until every box is filled." Write both the Store ID and the Signature key, then save again.
• The card says "Fill every box". Show at checkout is on, but a key is missing.
• Customers see "The online payment could not open — you can pay on delivery." aamarPay did not accept the request. Check the Store ID and Signature key, and that Test mode matches the keys you wrote (sandbox keys with Test mode on, live keys with it off).
