How do I connect all my Facebook pages and Instagram accounts at once?

Open Inbox settings, paste one User token from the Graph API Explorer into Connect all my pages at once and press Connect all pages. Every Facebook page you manage is connected with its own page token, and the Instagram business account linked to each page comes along too.

Where to find it

Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox settings (সিআরএম › ইনবক্স › ইনবক্স সেটিংস), in the card 3. Connected pages.

Only the store owner (Super Admin) sees this box, because it works with keys and tokens ("Inbox keys & tokens (owner)"). The Admin can open Inbox settings and switch pages on or off, but cannot connect them.

Before you start

  • Your own Meta app, with its Meta app secret saved in 2. Rules. Save the secret first: the panel uses it to make the token long-lived, so the page tokens do not expire.
  • The webhook set up in your Meta app with the Callback URL and Verify token from the For the Meta app (webhook) card.

Step by step

  1. Open the Graph API Explorer in Meta for Developers and pick your app.
  2. Choose a User token and tick the permissions the panel lists: pages_show_list, pages_messaging, pages_manage_metadata, pages_read_engagement, instagram_basic, instagram_manage_messages, business_management.
  3. Press Generate and tick every page you want in the Inbox when Facebook asks.
  4. Copy the token.
  5. Go to Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox settings and paste it into Connect all my pages at once.
  6. Press Connect all pages.
  7. You see, for example, "3 Facebook page(s) and 2 Instagram account(s) connected." Each one now has its own line in the list.

Good to know

  • The User token is not kept. It is used once to list your pages; each page then keeps its own token, stored encrypted.
  • Instagram comes along. If a page has an Instagram business account linked, it is added as its own line, named after its @username.
  • Names you gave stay. A page that was already connected keeps the name you gave it; only its token is renewed.
  • Every page is switched on. A page you had switched Off is turned On again. Switch it off afterwards if you do not want its chats.
  • Comments need more permissions. If the token lacks the comment permissions, the pages still get their messages. See Why do messages come in but post comments do not?
  • Next, choose who takes the chats in 1. Sellers and their share.

Common problems

  • "Facebook listed no pages for this token." You did not tick your pages when making the token. Make it again and tick them.
  • "This is a page token. Use a User token from the Graph API Explorer." You pasted a page's own token. Paste it in Or one page by its token instead, or make a User token.
  • "Facebook did not switch on messages for: …" Those pages were saved but did not link to your app. The red line under each one gives Facebook's reason.
