On phones and tablets, your shop shows a bar fixed to the bottom of the screen, like a shopping app. It keeps the five things a shopper needs most one tap away: Home, Categories, Cart, WhatsApp (or Call) and Account.
Where to find it
Open your shop on a phone. The bar shows on every shop page when the screen is narrower than 992 pixels, and hides itself on wider screens such as computers. There is nothing to switch on; it is part of every shop.
How it works

The button for the page you are on is shown in your shop's main colour.
Where the WhatsApp and phone come from. WhatsApp uses the WhatsApp number and switch in Admin › Online store › Store design › General settings. Call uses the phone in Store design › Footer (Footer Section 6), else your Site Phone. With neither set, the bar has four buttons.
Example: a Rangdhanu Fashion shopper scrolls down a long product list on her phone. Without scrolling back up she taps Cart to check her items, then WhatsApp to ask about a size.
Good to know
- Floating buttons keep clear. The live chat button, the "someone just bought" popup and the back-to-top button sit above the bar, so nothing covers anything else.
- The page leaves room for it. The bottom of every page has space for the bar, so your footer is never hidden behind it.
- Your team's Account button opens their admin panel instead of the customer page.
- Dark mode. If the shopper uses the shop's dark look, the bar turns dark too.
Common problems
- There is no WhatsApp button. WhatsApp is not switched on, or the number is empty. Set both in Store design › General settings and save.
- There is neither WhatsApp nor Call. No phone number is set. Add one in General settings or the footer settings.
- I do not see the bar on my computer. That is expected. Make the browser window narrow or open the shop on your phone.
