If your Inbox says "New chats do not come to you yet", you are on the sellers list but not ticked to take chats. The store owner (Super Admin) or an Admin turns you on in Inbox settings › Sellers and their share. After that, you press Available in your Inbox.
Where to find it
- You (the seller): the yellow note at the top of Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox.
- The office: Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox settings (সিআরএম › ইনবক্স), box 1. Sellers and their share. It needs the Inbox settings tick: the Super Admin always has it, and the Admin gets it with the role.
Step by step (for the office)
- Go to Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox settings.
- In 1. Sellers and their share, find the seller.
- Tick Takes chats.
- Give them a Share %. The shares of everyone ticked must make 100%, so lower someone else's share if needed.
- Press Save shares. The message lists everyone who takes chats now.
- Tell the seller to open Inbox and press Available.
Example: at Rangdhanu Fashion, Mitu has 60% and Rafi 40%. Sumi joins. The office ticks Sumi, sets Mitu 40%, Rafi 30% and Sumi 30%, and presses Save shares. Sumi presses Available and starts getting new customers.
Good to know
- The seller cannot turn themselves on. Pressing Available alone is not enough while they are not ticked.
- The link in the note opens Inbox settings only for people who may open it. Others see the same words without a link.
- Saving starts the count again. After Save shares, everyone's count of chats starts from zero.
Common problems
- The seller is not in the table. The table lists working sellers (job role Seller, active in HR › Staff) and people added by hand. Add them under Add someone else.
- "… cannot answer inbox chats (no Inbox tick on the Users page)". Give the person Inbox — own chats in Admin › Administration › Users & access › Users & logins first.
- There is no Available button at all. The person is not on the sellers list yet. The office adds them and saves the shares.
- Ticked and Available, but no chats. Check their share is not 0, their Pages, and their Max open chats.
